I wanted to say HI to everyone! I am getting married on Oct 20, 2012. Our ceremony will be at a local church and our reception at a nearby Inn. I am very excited!!

Hi, thank you for the welcomes!

I live in montgomery county, so I am getting married at a church in Royersford. My FI and I met about 12 yrs ago. We worked together in Florida. We were great friends for a few years before we started dating so I truly feel like I am marrying my best friend. I love that! He is a Philly native and always wanted to move back, so we decided to go for it and make the big move a couple years ago, each bringing a son from a previous marriage.

He proposed last December in a romantic setting in front of the lake in the park near our house.

I am excited and nervous but more than anything incredibly happy!!

There are lots of us on this board who use Whimsical Welcomes. Leslie works out of her home in Skippack. She's very creative and will work with your budget. She's great to work with. www.whimsicalwelcomes.com

My cake was included in my catering package but my mom has used Kathy's Just Desserts for many things. Her cakes taste fantastic and she's another person who works out of her home. It seems to keep prices down if vendors don't have the expenses of a store. www.kathysjustdesserts.com She's in the East Norriton area. Hope these suggestions help!

Thanks so much! Speaking of Skippack, have you been to Mira Salon by chance? I was thinking of going there for a haircut soon and then using them for my wedding hair if I like the work. I have been in PA for almost 2 years but havent had my hair done here yet. I travel to florida a bunch and always use the same person there, but that wont work for the wedding!
