OMG Bliss, that's a big deal. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you seem to be ok! Do you think there's any hope of salvaging things?

My confession is that I feel like a bad friend b/c I'm SICK TO DEATH of hearing my one friend's sob stories about guys. She's perpetually single and once I actually saw her with the last guy she was dating, now I know why. I feel terrible thinking this way, but the constant "woe is me" was already on my nerves, and now it's at the point where I don't even want to call her. Ugh.
Glad I got that out. LOL

Thanks Ladies. Yeah, it's over...I'm more upset about calling my vendors...I tried cancelling at the reception venue without giving details but then they wanted to know if it was something they did wrong so then I had to explain it to them...ugggh. The dress shop is like "you still have to finish paying for your dress wedding or no wedding", I closed our joint bank account they wanted to know "why"..uggh...another videographer reached out to me saying that he hasn't heard from my ex and I had to tell him. I still have to contact the ceremony site and the photographer I LOVED them BOTH So MUCH I don't want to have to cancel them uuggghh but I have to...

Awww Bliss. I am so sorry to hear that. Maybe you can go to counseling and hash out your differences. HOWEVER; as a divorcee' when the man shows you his true colors the first time believe them! Losing deposits is a small price to pay versus a lifetime of agony.

My confession is that I really don't like one of the little girls I nanny for. It's really ridiculous of me, she's only 17 months old, she's a baby... but I don't like her. I've been watching her every week since August and we just have no bond, she doesn't have much of a personality, she doesn't talk or babble like most kids her age... And no, I don't think there's anything wrong with her, like autism... I just think that's how she is. The job ends in June and I'm not going to miss her at all. I do like her older sister a lot though, which is partially why I kept the job. Plus, it's pretty easy and I need the money. It's only a once a week job though, so maybe if I were here every day, she would be different.

Anyone can throw you a bridal shower, it doesn't have to be your bridal party. I've heard of people's mom's, aunts, other friends etc. throwing them. Unfortunately, you can't really ask, someone has to offer.

See this is the tricky part. I usually host and coordinate all the events in my family and my friend's circle. I don't think it would even dawn on them to throw me one.
