My FI flew up to Philly this weekend to go dress shopping with her mom and some bridesmaids. She picked out her dress. I wish I could AMW but I'm not allowed to see it. So I guess that's a check for both of us. I can't wait to see what she looks like!
All I know is that she got it at Arielle Bridal. On a similar note, I'm thinking about just going with a standard, timeless tuxedo for me and my guys. I think it's really classic and with almost everyone doing a colored or textured tie and vest nowadays it's almost like old is new again. Thoughts?

NWR: I worked all weekend , but I went to see "Think Like A Man" for the second time. It was too funny.
WR: I ordered my favors, cake topper and finished assembling my invitations. I also went to a wedding expo at my church and checked out a couple of florist. This week I have two floral consults.

WR: Went to Valley Forge Park and got my engagement photos with Ron from Ron Evans Photography. www.revansphotography.com Signed the wedding contract and made the deposit. Already got 3 pictures back from him and they are amazing!
I will post the pictures that I have in a new post(once i learn how!)

Brood - That's what my fiance and his groomsmen are doing - timeless, black tuxedo, black bowtie and black cummerbund. The groomsmen will rent, but my fiance owns his own tuxedo so I think he'll wear that, with a new shirt. Also, neither my fiance nor I like vests at all, so we didn't do a vest - but to each their own.
My experience (so far) with Black Tie Phily on Chestnut Street has been very good. I will let you know if that changes as things get closer to the wedding. :)

My NWR check for the weekend was cleaning out my closet... I'm giving a fair amount of stuff to Goodwill, so I feel good about that. Some of the girls over on E were nice enough to give me opinions on shirts I couldn't decide on... it's hard for me to make myself get rid of things. Now I have room for new clothes! No money right now, but the room is there for when I start working more agan :)
Nothing WR, and I don't have any goals for the week. I do have a goal for the day though, and that's take a nap! I feel like I didn't sleep last night.

That's what my FI and his guys are doing. Black tux, white shirt with black button studs, and black bowties (no cummerbunds). They'll be set apart by the color of their boutineers.

Over the weekend we booked the RD, booked a hotel room near the airport for the night before we leave for the HM (we're flying out of Newark Monday morning), and I had my H&MU trial.
This week I want to look some more at invites, and I think we're going ring shopping again on Friday.

I think my hair needs a little more volume & curl. It held up pretty well for 8 hours yesterday, but I'm still a little concerned. I also think I want my eyes a little darker.

Jessa- your makeup looks awesome! I FINALLY ordered the favors but forgot to go to the post office to get my invites weighed Saturday so I really need to get on that. I still can't decide what color to have my hair for the wedding... I am naturally dark brown and am normally that color all winter and go lighter (almost blonde) in the summer. I need to decide soon though... 2 months left!

I love the classic tux look, especially for a wedding. It's timeless.
And Jessa, you look stunning. Your hair looks great, but I get what you mean about a little more volume/curls. I felt the same way about mine, My hair trial looked very similar to yours.

I vote dark brown with some (not blonde) highlights for dimension.
